Now that you have seen many ways to get media from a website to your hard disk, I want to tell you one more, and, perhaps the easiest way to save an image from any website. This method will work irrespective of the browser or whatever website you are visiting.

Step 1:

First of all open the website and select the image you want to save. You might be excited to just to right click on the image and choose “Save link As” to save it to your hard disk. But believe me, not all sites allow you to do so. So go to the next step.

Step 2:

To save the image just Drag the image to from the Web Page to desktop or wherever you want to save it. Open the destination folder in explorer and side by side the Web Page also. And drag the image from the Web Page to the Explorer. And the image will be saved on that location with the corresponding folder.

Step 3:

As you can see the name of the file is a weird one, so better rename it.
