How to Understand the Bulldog Puppy

The bulldog puppy is one that some people will absolutely love or they will think they are so ugly that it makes them cute. The little bulldog with his scrunched up nose and long jaws can be quite a personable little fellow as he bounces around the house looking very sad the majority of the time. Some even believe the bulldog once he is grown is a very fierce looking one.

Temperament of your Bulldog Puppy

The bulldog is not a fierce one at least the majority of the times, a matter of fact he is quite docile except with an intruder. The bulldog is great for a family with children as he or she is a gentle natured puppy and dog while being very loyal and loving to all in the family.

Living Environment for your Bulldog Puppy

The bulldog puppy will do great living in an apartment as he grows to adulthood. He does not need a yard at all to be very content. He will be just as active with or without a yard in which to play. He or she does however, does not do well with cold or hot weather, he needs a temperate climate.

Training your Bulldog Puppy

The Bulldog is not too much into training even though he is very smart and enjoys pleasing his master. He is more often lazy and only has an attention span of around 15 minutes before he will want to lie down and take a nap. He or she does have a dominance streak, which must be dealt with while still in puppyhood, or he will truly rule the house.

Grooming your Bulldog puppy

There is not much grooming for the bulldog. You will need to brush his short coat about once per week and bathe only when he becomes dirty. The wrinkles on his face will need cleaned with a damp cloth.
