Temperament of your Belgian Mastiff Puppy
At one time, this puppy was trained to be a hard worker and would pull carts. He is very loving, loyal, and will protect his family. He is very powerful as an adult along with being very intelligent. He does great with kids and is often calm and very obedient. The Belgian Mastiff is known for being gentle, obedient, and even eager to please. They are very good tempered and do very well with other animals in the home including cats. The puppy will be very devoted to all family members even if self-sacrifice is required.
Living Environment for your Belgian Mastiff Puppy
The Belgian Mastiff puppy will need a large yard in which to play and roam. He will not do well in an apartment. He should also have some type of job to perform as he turns into an adult. They do require a mid to large sized yard for a play area. Puppies are quite active and may wander from home. Cooler climates are best.
Training your Belgian Mastiff Puppy
As he was always used as a worker dog, he is very easily trained. He loves his family and will do pretty much anything he can to please. Pulling carts or even wagons with small kids will be his favorite thing to do.
Grooming your Belgian Mastiff puppy
The Belgian Mastiff puppy has short hair that will need to brushed daily and he will only need to be bathed when dirty.

Colors: brindle, fawn, and some Belgian Mastiff puppies may have a dark mask or a few white markings.
