You may feel the need to remove programs stored on your hard drive of your Windows system because they are either no longer required or it may be the case that a particular program(s) having a drain on the memory resources of the computer and thus slowing down the running of applications. Anyway, here is a simple step-by-step- guide on how you can uninstall programs and remove them alltogether from the hard drive. Be careful however that you do not remove any programs that may be required for running another program/application. You may or may not be prompted by a warning indicating this.
Step 1:
Go to Start Menu > Control Panel
Step 2:
Inside control panel, select ‘uninstall a program’ under ‘programs’.
Step 3:
It will generate a list of your install applications. You can select any application you want to remove and then press ‘uninstall/change’.
Step 4:
You will be asked for confirmation after which the application would be installed.
