Roger Whitter grew up in Central Missouri, and not often, he saw the local troopers while playing around the city. As a child, he was very impressed by the abilities and the knowledge of troopers of working with people and solving pressuring situations. A common dream, of becoming a state trooper, became Roger’s dream as well.
However, how many people can say they have become what they have dreamed as kids? Roger Whitter can surely be proud, as he is one of the few people who decided to pursuit his dreams. Intensive training, courses and various assignments in the Missouri State Patrol have helped Roger build a solid career. Today, he is the Assistant Director of the Human Resources Division at General Headquarters in Jefferson City and looks forward for the exciting challenges a state trooper can always provide. Being a state trooper is an exciting journey… do you have the courage of following your child’s dream?
